THE ANN ARBOR AD CLUB ANNOUNCES THE 2006 ADDY AWARDS CALL FOR ENTRIES

ANN ARBOR, MI – The Ann Arbor Ad Club (A2AC) announces a call for entries to the 2006 ADDY® Awards - the world’s largest advertising competition. Entries are due by January 18, 2006. The fee for a single entry is $60 for A2AC members, $70 for non-members. For a campaign, the entry fee is $80 for A2AC members, $90 for non-members. Local winners of the ADDY® Awards will be announced at a gala event at the Ann Arbor Art Center, February 10.

The ADDY® Awards recognize all forms of advertising in this global competition. With over 60,000 entries annually, all types of media are represented and all levels of creative have an opportunity to be recognized at the international level.

The competition begins locally. Each of the more than 200 ad clubs affiliated with the American Advertising Federation (AAF), including A2AC, organizes its own ADDY® Awards. Winning entries move up to the next level of competition; local winners advance to district competitions; district winners advance to the national and international finals.
