Eatontown (January 04, 2006) – For Lanmark Group, a full-service healthcare advertising, marketing and communications agency, 2005 was a milestone year. In addition to setting a new record for business from new and existing accounts, Lanmark Group was honored with several industry awards.

New Accounts

In 2005, Lanmark Group acquired a total of six new clients:

• Ada Products Company, Inc. – A leading dental supply company and former division of the Block Drug Company, based in New Jersey.

• Dentsply North America – A recently-formed sales organization for Dentsply International that effectively combines the field and sales management functions of six United States businesses; Caulk, Professional, Alliance, Rinn, Maillefer and Pharmaceutical.

• GE Healthcare Financial Services – A leading provider of capital, financial solutions and related services for the global healthcare market, including equipment financing, real estate financing, working capital lending, vendor programs and practice acquisition financing.

• LED Medical Diagnostics – A Canadian-based emerging medical technology company that is introducing a portable, highly accurate oral cancer screening device to the U.S. dental market.

• Sterngold – A leading manufacturer of dental alloys, attachments, implants and restorative systems.

• Suni Medical Imaging – Based in Silicon Valley, the number-one OEM manufacturer of intraoral digital radiography sensors in the world and a leading manufacturer of branded digital X-ray systems and sensors for the dental industry.

“We’re extremely happy to add each of these new clients to our roster,” remarked Christine Simpson, Lanmark Group CEO. “Every client we’ve acquired in 2005 is

either a leader in its category or a rapidly rising star.”

Expanding Existing Business

During 2005, many Lanmark clients not only expanded their overall marketing efforts, they expanded their relationships with Lanmark. “Thanks to a stronger economy and the consultative, integrated marketing approach our account executives take with our clients, we were able to expand our strategic role with existing clients,” explained Simpson. “For example, we’ve been the PR agency of record for Sirona Dental Systems, the leading manufacturer of dental CAD/CAM systems, for years. This year, we won the creative part of their business and received an award for a direct mail piece we developed.”

“More and more clients, including Ansell Healthcare, Johnson & Johnson, OraPharma, Sunstar Butler and Wm. Wrigley Jr. Company are taking advantage of the fact that we are a full-service agency with well-integrated departments that work in concert with each other,” explained Simpson. “These clients not only see the bottom-line benefits of using a full service agency that knows their business they also value the advantages of brand consistency across all media.”

The signing of new clients and service expansion within existing clients is helping the company achieve its growth goals. “We are currently a 7-million-dollar company. Our goal is to increase our gross revenue to 10 million dollars within the next two years.”

Awards & Accolades

Lanmark Group was the recipient of many prestigious industry awards in 2005. One notable example was its #13 ranking in NJBIZ magazine’s Best Places to Work in New Jersey. Lanmark was chosen from over 1,400 submissions from New Jersey companies that entered the program.

“This is one of the awards that we are most proud of,” remarked Howard Klein,
Lanmark Group president. “Our ongoing commitment to employee satisfaction enables Lanmark Group to hire and retain the best in the business. Therefore, our clients receive a consistently high level of service and quality over the course of a long-term relationship.”

Lanmark Group was also recognized by MarCom Creative Awards, an international competition for marketing and communication professionals, with four awards in the 2005 MarCom Creative Awards Competition.

Out of 4,613 entries in the 2005 competition, Lanmark Group was honored with two coveted platinum MarCom awards for creative work done for the Garden State Film Festival and Wm. Wrigley Jr. Company. Lanmark Group also received a gold award for a Sirona Dental Systems direct mail piece entitled “Life is Good with CEREC inLab.”

Furthermore, Lanmark Group received an honorable mention for a trade journal advertisement created for Ansell Healthcare. The ad, entitled “Everything You Touch, We Touch,” received recognition for its image of a surgical-gloved hand with the winning slogan.

“The creative spark is alive and well at Lanmark Group,” commented Chief Creative Officer Michael McCarthy. “2005 was a year of pride and accomplishment, thanks to our talented creative team and our great clients, who allow us to ‘color outside the lines’ and inspire great work.”

Lanmark Group also received “Webby Worthy” kudos from The International Academy of Digital Arts and Sciences for the agency’s design of The Pankey Institute for Advanced Dental Education website, http://www.pankey.org. Although the Pankey site did not win the coveted “Webby Award,” fewer than 20% of the 4,000 entries were deemed “Webby Worthy.”

“We are rapidly growing the 'I' part of the Lanmark business,” said Simpson. “We’ll be doing a lot more Internet and interactive work in 2006. Being recognized as Webby Worthy not only encourages us, it sets our standards.”
