Access to Reports, Studies Simplified with New LAEDC Website

January 07, 2006 (PRLEAP.COM) Business News
The Los Angeles County Economic Development Corporation (LAEDC) today unveiled its enhanced website which offers comprehensive reports, research studies, LA statistics and business assistance services to businesses in LA County, Southern California as well as business attraction resources for businesses worldwide. The website address is www.laedc.org.

The upgraded site incorporated beneficial features, such as economic profiles for Southern California metropolitan areas, access to LAEDC programs, along with resources available to businesses throughout the region. The site also provides crucial reports, such as the annual economic forecast and industry-specific research, which are often used by the business community and government decision makers. These are available at no cost.

“In today’s information intense world, ninety percent of all business attraction leads are generated by business and site consultants’ use of the web. This is why the new website is critical to the success of the LAEDC’s mission,” said Lee Harrington, LAEDC President and CEO.

Visitors to the site can also learn about the quality of life Los Angeles has to offer. Any business relocation and expansion strategy should consider an area's unique attributes and features. More and more, businesses are now looking for a quality of life factor that will positively affect employee morale and, ultimately, business success. Destination retail shops, cultural exhibits, accessibility to the sand and snow and ethnic diversity are among the few factors that make Los Angeles a rich place in which to live.
