December 15, 2014 (PRLEAP.COM) Travel NewsDecember 15, 2014 - Guillaume Joly has joined Park Hyatt Abu Dhabi, following 25 years experience in the fine dining and hospitality industry.
He discovered his passion for cooking at the age of four, while watching his mother and grandmother. This set him on a path that began with culinary school at the age of sixteen.
Guillaume then started his working life at Michelin-star restaurants in France. After some time at Hyatt Regency Paris Madeleine, he left to continue his culinary career in Moscow as Chef de Cuisine for Michel Troisgros Restaurant, then at other international hotel chains. He rejoined Hyatt for the opening of Hyatt Regency Ekaterinburg as Executive Chef. He moved from there to Park Hyatt Moscow and is now leading the culinary team at the Park Hyatt Abu Dhabi.
His cooking philosophy is "respect the product" and his manner of cooking preserves the real taste and flavours of the food. He serves up graceful dishes that have a classic simplicity. Guillaume is known for being approachable and supportive, and strives to bring out the best in his team. He is a passionate and innovative leader.
