Nitrogen Dioxide Sensor for Exploring Environmental issues in Schools

January 11, 2006 (PRLEAP.COM) Education News
ScienceScope launch the Nitrogen Dioxide sensor for schools. As one of the UK’s leading developers of datalogging equipment that provides technology-based science learning solutions, ScienceScope have produced a Nitrogen Dioxide sensor for measuring environments and gas production.

The Nitrogen Dioxide gas sensor measures in range of 0-10ppm. This sensor is ideal for measuring this gas and demonstrating the environmental factors that could happen should NO2 become wide spread. It can assist with the development and understanding of environmental issues, at home and at school, how various industries require this gas and the effects of this gas as a prominent air pollutant and the effects it has on our world.

Classroom investigations with the ScienceScope Nitrogen Dioxide sensor can help give practical demonstrations on how to measure NO2. Demonstrating the changes in environmental factors, and aid you in discussions on air quality, life on earth, how chemicals effect living things and our lives, what we can do to change this to enhance life.

Specifications:
· Range: 0 to 10ppm
· Shortest recommended recording interval: 1s
· Resolution: 0.1ppm
