Fairless and May - New Partners at Wheeler Trigg Kennedy

DENVER - The Denver-based trial law firm of Wheeler Trigg Kennedy LLP (www.wtklaw.com) is pleased to announce that Carolyn J. Fairless and Craig R. May have joined the partnership.


Carolyn Fairless has practiced civil litigation extensively in the federal and state courts in Colorado, and has been admitted pro hac vice in several other states. Her practice areas include professional liability, product liability, intellectual property, and commercial litigation. Ms. Fairless has represented several large corporations and Denver law firms, and was one of the attorneys representing the Vancouver Canucks in the recent Moore v. Bertuzzi, et al. case. She also provides pro bono legal services to the Eating Disorder Foundation and the Stanford Center for Internet & Technology. A 1998 graduate of the University of Colorado School of Law, Ms. Fairless also received a bachelor of science degree cum laude in 1992 from Tulane University School of Engineering. Prior to practicing law, Ms. Fairless was a computer analyst with IBM Corporation.

Craig May's practice includes commercial dispute and product liability trial work, commercial arbitrations, and appeals at the state and federal level. He has represented some of the largest U.S. companies, including Pfizer, Ford, ConocoPhillips, Guidant, Terex, and Qwest, in a wide variety of disputes, trials, arbitrations, and appeals around the country. Mr. May serves on the firm's recruiting committee and the operating committee of the Wheeler Trigg Kennedy Foundation. He is a 1998 Order of the Coif graduate of the University of Virginia School of Law, and he received his undergraduate degree, with honors, from Stanford University. Mr. May served as a law clerk to Chief Judge Deanell Tacha of the United States Court of Appeals for the Tenth Circuit and to former United States District Court Judge Sven Erik Holmes of the Northern District of Oklahoma. Prior to law school, Mr. May worked for five years as a legislative assistant to United States Senator Kent Conrad.
