ANN ARBOR AD CLUB KICKS OFF THE YEAR WITH “TRENDS IN MARKETING” PANEL DISCUSSION AND CREATIVITY NIGHT

ANN ARBOR, MICH. – January 15, 2006 – The Ann Arbor Ad Club (A2AC) kicks off the year with a panel discussion, “Trends in Marketing,” and “Creativity Night.” The event will be held Wednesday, January 18 at SPARK Central, 330 East Liberty Street in downtown Ann Arbor.

Moderated by Meredith Lovelace, marketing director, Ann Arbor Area Chamber of Commerce, the panel discussion combines audience questions and participation with the panelists, sharing their experiences, opinions and predictions at this exciting, educational and interactive forum.

Panelists are Debra Power, owner of Power Marketing, with expertise in focus groups and surveys; Rajeev Batra, professor of marketing, Ross School of Business, University of Michigan, with expertise in researching brand personality and brand equity; and Ivan Frank, senior vice president of strategy, ePrize, with expertise in marketing trends.

The event will also showcase A2AC member’s artwork. Attendees are welcome to bring their favorite piece along with an easel. Space is limited so it is advised to only bring one piece. For more information, contact Meaghan at meaghan.m@tgidirect.com for details.

Networking begins at 5 p.m., followed by the program from 5:45-7 p.m. The evening ends with karaoke night and a display of member’s electronic art. The event is free to members, $38 for non-members and $20 for students. Pre-registration is required by noon the day before the event.
