Salt Lake City, Utah, July 29, 2015 - Renovo Water, designed not just a water filter but a system - the Oasis. Other water filters have already been designed for each personal use case, meaning hikers have a filter and yoga enthusiasts have a different filter. The Oasis is a filtration system that allows for adaptability from one use case to another.

Now a hiker that also wants to do yoga can adapt the Oasis to filter dirty backcountry water and then customize it to infuse tea or fruit while doing yoga. View a video on how the Oasis works at: KickStarter.com.

"The idea for the Oasis came from the irritation of owning multiple filters for each different activity," said Dan Beck, President of Renovo Water. "Wouldn't it be easier to just have one filtration system that can adapt for all types of activities? Then, the Oasis was born."

Preppers, hikers, campers, travelers, yoga enthusiasts, active and healthy individuals and pretty much anyone that wants clean water, will now be able to filter water anyway desired. The Oasis water filtration system is:
  • Unique. Unlike any other water filter, the Oasis has separate modules which can be arranged to adjust to any activity a consumer would engage in.
  • Portable. The Oasis is comprised of modules varying from 2.5" to 4" in length which can easily fit in a pocket or bag.
  • Easy to Use. With the Oasis, the consumer is completely in charge of what is being filtered. Each module is designed to filter specific contaminants and will feature directional arrows making it easy for the consumer to know how to arrange each module.
  • Efficient. The Oasis has multiple filtration mediums such as activated carbon, hollow fiber membrane, and Nanolum, that will filter chemicals, bacteria, and viruses up to 99.99999%. Each of the filtration modules can easily be replaced as needed.
  • Adaptable. The Oasis is designed with patented genderless connectors that will allow consumers to use it with a water bottle, in line with a hydration pack, as a gravity filter and integrated with a pump.

  • "The Oasis was designed with function over form," said Bradley Abbott, Designer. "Though it may not look too sexy at this time just wait and see our final design concepts."
