Roseville CPA Announces New Partnership for Their Agricultural Business

August 6, 2015 - Roseville, CA - Cook CPA Group is excited to announce the introduction of Dr. Gerri Brown as their new consultant for the accounting firm's agricultural clients.

"Dr. Gerri Brown has a great agricultural background," said Evelyn Cook. "Our firm has a lot of experience with business plans, as does Dr. Brown, and we know that with her consultation, she's going to be a big asset for our clients."

Dr. Brown received her B.S. in agribusiness, finance, and appraisal from Cal Poly. She then went on to obtain her M.S. from Texas Tech University. After working as an assistant professor at Laramie County Community College in Wyoming, where she taught business courses in the Ag Department, Dr. Brown moved back to California. There she worked as both a lecturer and researcher for the Department of Animal Science at the University of California, Davis. During that time, she completed a doctorate and post-doctorate in Animal Biology, and she continues to educate future equine and agricultural business leaders. A lifelong equestrian enthusiast, Dr. Brown at one time also operated a large equine breeding farm in Texas.
