October 20, 2015 - Mexicali Bariatric Center has been providing high quality health care services and changing lives throughout 12 years. Founded by one of the world's top bariatric surgeons Dr. Alberto Aceves, Mexicali Bariatric Center is one of the most recognized bariatric institutions worldwide while having a multidisciplinary team consisting of bariatric surgeons as well as the support of psychologist, internist, nutritionist, patient coordinators, chef, personal trainer and support group.

Currently MBC is led by board certified surgeons Dr. Antonio Esquerra and Dr. Rodolfo Wilhelmy, all of them leading weight loss surgeons in the nation, following the ethics and the legacy that our founder Dr. Alberto Aceves left. Dr. Antonio Esquerra is our DS surgeon. He was trained by Dr. Gilberto Ungson, now Secretary of the Health Department of the state of Sonora and the leading DS surgeon in Latin America, learning from him the technique that made his patients so successful throughout his career.

Mexicali Bariatric Center is certified by Johnson & Johnson with the Total Patient Care Center proctorship certification. Right now MBC is training surgeons from all over Latin America to be experts in health care and weight loss.
