Rare African American Posters
For Immediate Release

"BLACKS IN AVIATION & AEROSPACE", a set of eight posters have been produced. Each is 17 inches x 22 inches with black and white photos and biographical text for each. Represented are pioneers in flight Bessie Coleman and Eugene Bullard and the first Black astronauts Ronald McNair, Guion Bluford and Mae C. Jemison. Also included is Frederick Drew Gregory (the first Black astronaut to command a space shuttle), Willa Beatrice Brown ("First Lady of Aviation") and The Tuskegee Airmen (who never lost a bomber in 200 escort missions in Europe during World War II).

This historical set is now available for schools, archives, libraries, organizations, collectors and those interested in a neglected aspect of African American history. These stories bring to light extraordinary accomplishments of men and women of color whose exceptional exploits are under-represented in United States achievements until now.

They are being made available at a special low rate. All sets come in mailing tubes. Special discounts are available for non-profit organizations and Black History Month projects.
