Cardiostream Joins the UltraLinq Portfolio

Both companies, which specialize in the medical image management space, have shared roots and are well established in the world of cardiac imaging.
The acquisition is yet another move by UltraLinq to rapidly broaden their image & data management offerings. In recent years, as the use of HIPAA-compliant cloud solutions within the clinical environment have increased in acceptance, UltraLinq has made aggressive investments to expand from ultrasound management into the realms of MRI, CT, and X-Ray. According to Stephen Farber, CEO of UltraLinq, "The decision to acquire Cardiostream is rooted in UltraLinq's continuing drive to broaden its platform and address patient care issues through the provision of efficient and cost-effective solutions."
Along with seasoned expertise, the Cardiostream addition will bring added Nuclear functionality to UltraLinq's existing product. CTO Richard Safran spoke highly with regards to the acquisition; "The team at UltraLinq is thrilled to add the people and products from Cardiostream to our group. We look forward to the new competencies that the combined team will bring to the development of new products and the enhancement of our combined product offerings."
