Paris, France – January 2006 – XandMail, the digital communication solutions provider announces that XandMail Push Mail solution will now be distributed by VirtuaLink Technologies (VLink), a Singapore-based technology company, and its subsidiary V-Mobile to their customer base throughout Asia.

Specifically designed for the consumer market, Xandmail Push Mail is a carrier-grade solution which enables mobile operators to offer e-mail push features to their subscribers. The solution empowers even the simplest mobile phones with a complete range of push options (through MMS, SMS or WAP push) for any webmail account (Yahoo!, Gmail, Hotmail…) or any POP3 or IMAP4 custom account.
All the subscriber has to do is list the email accounts he wants to monitor and set message filters and/or a push timetable. Push Mail Solution then periodically scans the mailboxes and send the messages which match the user’s policy directly to his mobile phone.

“Once again, this partnership enables us to extend our offer: XandMail is the only editor who provides us with a unique solution that responds to our customers’ demand. XandMail Push Mail Solution definitively meets operators’ needs in terms of usability and user experience,” Clement Yeo, Chief Operating Officer at VLink, said. “XandMail Push Mail has an edge over other push email solutions such as BlackBerry or Smartner: subscribers can access all their e-mail accounts from any mobile device, and there is no need to download a specific client.”

Thanks to its distribution agreement with VLink and V-Mobile, XandMail reinforces a many-year presence in Asia where their products are distributed by other locally-based integrators.
“We have already begun Push Mail Solution trials with a few large Asian operators. We realize that reinforcing our presence in the fast–growing Asian markets through such partnerships is strategic for us,” Thierry Grillot, Business Unit Manager at XandMail, commented. “We expect Push Mail Solution to create significant new business opportunities for VLink, V-Mobile and XandMail.”

Within the partnership between the two companies, VLink, which had already integrated XandMail’s Empowered Messaging Suite to its catalogue, will now expand its offer by providing Push Mail Solution to mobile operators.
