Leading Asia Based DJ, Radio Host And Producer Launches Name Change

February 25, 2016 (PRLEAP.COM) Entertainment News
Leading Asia based DJ, radio host and producer DJ MODIUM today announced he's changing his stage name to ADAM SKY.

MODIUM/ADAM SKY has enjoyed a rapid rise through the electronic dance music scene in Asia and acclaimed as one of the leading producers in the region, and a regular at marque clubs and festivals. After several months of deliberation, MODIUM and his management team have settled on a more personalized moniker which he says more accurately represents the artist he has become.

Adam says … "I've outgrown MODIUM as a brand, which I conceived many years ago when I was playing more electro-pop and electro-house styles. The electronic dance music scene is evolving quickly and with it the style of many artists including myself, so I wanted to make my brand more reflective of who I am, and where I am heading musically".

It's been a busy two years for ADAM SKY, having launched a globally syndicated radio show which now has over 1 million monthly listeners globally and has clocked up more than half a dozen Beatport and iTunes charted Top 100 tracks, and is a frequent headliner at festivals and top Asia super clubs such as X2, Valkyrie, Avalon, Levels and Pangaea.

The radio show attracts guest artists and DJ's such as AFROJACK, MAKJ, Laidback Luke and Tommy Trash.

In mid 2015 Adam was signed by global artist management firm, Amsterdam based TTT Management, who also look after DJ Mag Top 100 artists such as Sick Individuals and StadiumX, after seeing new signings to 5 new labels in 2015 including big UK house labels, Suka, Jango and Kidology, and electronic dance mega label, Ultra.
