Islevision to Offer Beach Community Lots on the Caribbean Sea for $10k

March 02, 2016 (PRLEAP.COM) Business News
March 2, 2016 - Nestled between beautiful mountains, a tranquil river, and the sea, sits Calm Waters Colonia in El Porvenir. The community is home to 23 acres of lush Caribbean land, now available for the construction of custom homes.

Calm Waters Colonia is surrounded by the currently under construction Calm Waters Resort, which already includes two completed units, with 16 others in progress. The resort also features a bar, grill and pool area. All will be completed and ready to use within 2 months.

As an incentive for buyers, all those who start construction of their custom homes within 30 days of purchase, will receive a discount on building costs. These costs, usually sit somewhere between $85 to $100 per square foot - depending on the homeowner's choice of finishes but will now be reduced to $60 per square foot. Lots priced at $10,000 will also only be available during the month of March.

Interested parties will need to act without delay, as these incentives are some of the best to be found in the Caribbean. In fact, building costs are far lower than other areas. For example, in Puerto Rico, expect to pay $126 per square foot, while in Bermuda, this climbs to $655 according to the Global Property Guide.

Calm Waters Colonia prices offer an increased value for money spent compared to other local developments in El Porvenir of a similar size; priced in the $45,000 region. Prices being offered are also significantly lower than similar lots in the Caribbean which can range from $75,000 to $200,000.

Calm Waters Colonia is a project founded by Jeff Andrews.

His vision is to develop and produce projects that cater to the needs of a range of groups including retirees and foreigners wanting a vacation home, as well as people looking to make a property investment. He aims to offer these homes at a low price while still ensuring they remain luxurious and providing the best of Caribbean scenery and surrounds.
