Learn The Art of Scalp Micropigmentation from the Leaders of SMP in Canada!

July 11, 2016 - Scalp Micropigmentation is truly an art form, rather than a just a procedure. Scalp Micropigmentation or SMP, involves the fine art of placing pigmented, simulated hair follicles into a specific area of the skin in order to replicate hair follicles which give the appearance of a freshly shaved head of hair to balding Men and Women, or to add hair density to those Men and Women concerned with thinning hair. SMP, Scalp Tattoo or Hair Tattoo treatments also help Men and Women who have scars on their scalp from medical procedures, accidents or hair transplants.

As an SMP Artist, you will be able to help millions of Men and Women concerned with Hair Loss, Alopecia, Thinning hair or Scalp Scars, regain their confidence, self esteem and increase their body image using Scalp Micropigmentation (SMP).

Scalp Micropigmentation in Canada

Scalp Micropigmentation, SMP, Hair Tattoo or Scalp Tattoo treatments are still fairly new in Canada, and this new alternative or adjunct treatment to Hair Transplant treatments, Rogaine, Platelet Rich Plasma, and other lotions and potion that promise to grow hair.

Scalp Micropigmentation (SMP) provides the best results for Men and Women concerned with Hair Loss and Thinning hair, as well as Scalp Scar Camouflaging. The results are proven, because they are visible during and after the very first treatment. The look is natural and realistic. Thousands of Men and Women have completed this treatment, and you wouldn't even know it.

Currently there are only a few clinics in Toronto, and Canada as a whole that perform this specialized treatment. As Scalp Micropigmentation continues to grow and word spreads on the fantastic results achieved by this procedure, there will be more and more SMP Artists working on their own, with Hair Transplant Doctors and/or Hair Loss Clinics to utilize this procedure in their practice.

Demand for talented SMP Artists is growing at a rapid pace. This Billion Dollar industry is rapidly expanding in all directions, and you can be a part of this industry and help thousands of Men and Women in your area regain their confidence, as well as be a successful entrepreneur and owner operator of your own clinic, or work for a Hair Transplant Doctor or Hair Loss Clinic.

Training With the SMP Leaders in Canada.

Unfortunately, there are clinics in Toronto that are offering online training or have trainers with limited experience and abilities. Scalp Micropigmentation cannot be taught by looking at a screen or by using outdated techniques or equipment. A student must touch a scalp, and be able to practice, practice, practice on live models. You will not learn the Art of SMP in 3 days, however, you will learn the basics and be able to start working on live clients with confidence, however, you are not considered an expert by any means. We have a program, that we are constantly evaluating, that allows our students to succeed.

At The Scalp Micropigmentation Center of Toronto, you will be taught in a working environment on live clients. In order to be successful in this industry you will need to have hands on training, and one-on-one feedback. Could you imagine learning online and then working on a live client with no hands on experience what-so-ever. Most students fail or close their shop within a few months because they feel isolated, intimidated and sometimes bullied by larger corporations in the industry. You need the right training, the right equipment and learn from an experienced SMP Artist that will be available to you 24/7 for all those questions that you will need answered.

It takes months and years of practice in order to reach the master level. The SMC Training Center issues a Certificate of Attendance after they complete their 3 day course, followed up by a minimum of 20 hours of practice on live clients. Students submit their work for evaluation by a Master SMP Artist. Only after they have completed the necessary practice requirements, and reach a certain level, does the student receive a Certificate of Completion.

"Students wanting to enter the SMP industry should not train online or in a 2 or 3 day course and expect to be experts in the industry" says CEO and Master SMP Artist Tino Barbone of the Scalp Micropigmentation Center, "It takes a lot of practice actually working with a variety of different clients, different skin types and different skin tones in order Master the art…and even then, you will always have a client come in that brings something new to the table. That is why we have an online forum, an SMC App and a 24 hour phone number to help our students with any issues that they may come across - and students end up helping other students along the way to become a Master SMP Artist themselves".
