Communicate from the After-life: Christian On-line Service Helps the Living Create Memorials and Send Messages to Loved Ones After Death

Melbourne, Australia — The death of their employer and friend gave two men the motivation to complete a new and unique project that allows the terminally ill, or those in hospice or under palliative care to prepare messages of all kinds to be sent to their loved ones after death.

Anyone can now celebrate life through The Eternal Portal (tm) by remembering ancestors, and creating lasting memories for loved ones.

Nathan Martyn and John Moetteli formed Eterna Link Communications, Inc. (ELC) because of their relationship with Martyn's boss, John Douglass, director of a software firm in Australia. Because Douglass died while evaluating the feasibility of the "heaven's mail" concept, Martyn and Moetteli pushed forward with development, launched the www.ChristianMemorials.com web site and dedicated it to his memory.

The web site is designed for use by any Christian, regardless of specific religious or political affiliation. Much of its contents are about preserving traditions from generation-to-generation, and keeping in touch with those we leave behind during the normally non-communicative period from death until our promised reunion in heaven, according to Martyn.

"Although being a patent attorney is a full-time job, the Eternal Portal is my chosen ministry," Moetteli said. "I grew up with a Catholic mother and protestant father, and now understand both perspectives very well. So, I make it a point to do my best to review site contents to ensure that it's "non-partisan," appealing to the broader Christian community."

The "Heaven's Mail" service allows customers to create e-cards for select recipients, which can be scheduled for future delivery on dates of their choosing, such as special occasions, birthdays and anniversaries.

"Our online memorials are the best way we know on the web to remember loved ones and allow people, wherever they are, to share fond memories and condolences. Photo albums, video clips, audio clips and much more can be added with our easy-to-use online tools," explained Martyn.

"The reason we've created these innovative memorial services is simple," said Moetteli. "It is to enable us, when we pass on, to be remembered, and to continue to share our faith, offer our hope, and comfort, share our hard-earned wisdom, or just favorite jokes and recipes with our prodigy.

"We believe that this new means of communication after death will be very comforting to those who are faced with that final jump into the unknown. In the past, one way of accomplishing this was through an epitaph on a tombstone. However, this age-old technology does not permit any sort of tailored interaction with the recipient of the message. Our Heaven's Mail service does" he said.

The company provides detailed information on the Internet at www.ChristianMemorials.com.
