September 14, 2016 - Letters from Vietnam, a new book by Walter (Pete) Casey, has been released by RoseDog Books.

Walter (Pete) Casey was born in Glenolden, Pennsylvania, on July 31, 1940. He entered Gerard College in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, and graduated in 1958. He then attended PMC-Pa Military College-graduating in 1964 with a degree in English (BA). He enlisted in the US Navy for 4 years and served in Vietnam from January 1967 to January 1968.

Casey was an English teacher at the Berean Institute in Philadelphia for many years. He lived his entire life in Glenolden. He was born there and died in July 2007. He wrote these letters to his parents Dorothy and Edward Keesey while serving in Vietnam.
