Dulccio Merges High Fashion with High Tech in Stunning Product Release
February 16, 2017 (PRLEAP.COM) Lifestyle NewsFebruary 16, 2017 - Luxury brand Dulccio has launched a new line of products that merge couture with tech. The products challenge traditional notions of materials, and are designed to meet the needs of a growing audience of tech enthusiasts and high-fashion consumers seeking design solutions at the intersection of art and function.
"We're creating things that we believe in – and taking the time to get things right," says the Creative Team at the Dulccio Atelier. "For us, the challenge is creating a product that really changes the way people view materials and technology. We were keen to make it relevant, a natural integration of cutting-edge technology and old world materials like gold and leather."
Dulccio turned to its own virtuoso leathercrafter to fashion the masterpiece that is the CIƆIƆ, an 8-inch tablet bound in rich leather.
The CIƆIƆ pairs panels of onyx black and chocolate brown leather to create an understated-yet-elegant tablet case accented with 24K gold. Never one to remain entrenched in the past, Dulccio's CIƆIƆ case houses a state-of-the-art tablet powered by a 1.5 GHZ Cortex A53 quad-core processor and features a high-end capacitive touch screen. The tablet and case combination is available for purchase at the Dulccio website.
A Tradition of Achievement
Dulccio's offerings are differentiated by detailed craftsmanship. Expertly stitched, handpicked leather and 24K gold are seamlessly integrated into tech, mirroring the brand's belief in the fluid boundaries between technology and craft. It is this pursuit of consistent transcendence that pushed Dulccio's design team to create 1,499 CIƆIƆ prototypes before settling on the version you now see on the company's website – the 1,500th and final version.
"The process had its rewards. We just kept going until we were happy with the results," says the Head of Product Development at Dulccio. "We rapidly and iteratively generated feedback early and often in the process, improving the final design and reducing the need for changes during development." This type of devotion to refinement is necessary, Dulccio says, to maintain a line of tech products that both honor and harmonize with the principles of fashion and design.
Company representatives have yet to reveal which products will be launched next, but if the CIƆIƆ is any indication of what's to come, the future looks promising.
