July 13, 2017 - Over the Moon, a new book by Carolyn Ireland, has been released by Dorrance Publishing Co., Inc.

Life as we know it can be derailed in an instant.

After suffering unspeakable tragedy, one woman's mind and heart need so desperately to forget that she literally loses all memory of her former self. She wakes up one day with no recollection of who she is and especially what has happened to her.

As she stumbles back into her former life, willing herself to fit, she finds there is little place for her now. Frustrated, she sets out on her own to find herself and her identity. All the time there is something – someone – tugging at the back of her mind. As she has time to heal, glimpses of her former life slowly seep in.

It takes someone else who has experienced great heartbreak to finally start to mend her heart. When she's finally ready to move on, she finds that her new self – her stronger self – can both cherish her memories and live to make new ones.

A story both heart-wrenching and heart-warming, Over the Moon eloquently shares a woman's journey.

About the Author:
Carolyn Ireland's own life took a new course when she was diagnosed with Multiple Sclerosis. Her husband, Bob, and her children, Jeff and Jennifer, convinced her that she should leave her long retail career and instead spend her time with loved ones and doing what she loves. This novel was the result of the first item on her "bucket list." The story ended up much different from how she originally planned it, much like both her own life and the protagonist of the book.

Over the Moon is a 120-page paperback with a retail price of $12.00. The ISBN is 978-1-4809-3410-8. It was published by Dorrance Publishing Co., Inc of Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania.
