Robust Conference Program Covers the Entire Spectrum of the Industry; Submission Deadline October 1, 2017

West Chester, OH, August 3, 2017 - Data Center World, the leading global conference dedicated to education and networking for the data center industry, today opened its call for proposals for the annual Data Center World Global event, which will be held in San Antonio, Texas, March 12-15, 2018.

Unique to the industry, the conference draws upon the knowledge and experience of the more than 3,500 AFCOM members, the association for advancing data center and IT infrastructure professionals, to create an end-user driven agenda that focuses on real solutions for today's key challenges. At the heart of the must-attend event is more than three decades of experience bringing the best education, most abundant networking, and broadest access to best-in-class vendors together across four days.

One of the most important and unique features of Data Center World is the capacity to cover the entire spectrum of the industry from facilities to IT. The conference program reflects this range in the six session tracks and six types of educational sessions that will take place at the conference.

Security, energy efficiency, business continuity and disaster recovery, hybrid cloud, machine learning and AI, capacity optimization, IoT, hyperconvergence, storage, global connectivity, compliance and standards, edge data centers and other cutting edge technologies and innovations are among the topics that will be showcased at the conference.

"Data Center World is known for its end-user focused, vendor-neutral approach by creating an exceptional educational experience where all professionals across various roles in the data center come together. We have taken this legacy to the next level this year by expanding our efforts to collect more proposals, encourage more variation in the format of the sessions, and allow more room for interaction, engagement, and inspiration," explains Michele Reister, Director of Content for Data Center World.

The deadline for proposal submissions is October 1, 2017. To learn more about Data Center World Global visit To submit a proposal, visit click here.
