TekMat Unveils New Caliber Specific Gun Cleaning Kits to Accompany Their Line of Popular Gun Cleaning Mats

TekMat recently introduced five new caliber specific gun cleaning kits in a hopes to make gun cleaning easier and more enjoyable for the customer.

"We are very excited to offer these new kits to our customers," says Kirk Sample, Marketing Director of TekMat. "Our gun cleaning mats have always been popular with gun owners and we feel these new gun cleaning kits will make it easier for a new gun owner to maintain their firearm. As an example, when a new gun owner purchases a Sig P320, they can add a Sig P320 TekMat with the parts breakdown and a 9mm cleaning kit and they will be able to easily disassemble and clean their firearm."

Most cleaning kits on the market are universal handgun or rifle cleaning kits and have dozens, if not hundreds of pieces. TekMat wants to change that by offering the customer a caliber specific cleaning kit. Available in five calibers; .22, .357/9mm, .40, .45, and .223 TekMat hopes to cover most of the popular or common calibers. They say they will add more calibers in the future. Each cleaning kits comes with the basic necessities to clean a firearm and includes a high-quality brass brush, brass slotted tip, brass jag, bore guide, a brass rod with swivel handle, plastic storage tube, and a nylon carry bag. The cleaning kit designed specifically for the AR-15 also includes two additional brass rods and a brass bore brush specific for the AR-15. TekMat hopes that making the cleaning kits more simple there will be less confusion about how to clean a firearm.
