First Vehicle Services to Provide City of Arlington with Fleet Management and Maintenance

ARLINGTON, Texas — First Vehicle Services announces that it has been awarded the fleet management, maintenance, and repair contract for all municipal vehicles in the City of Arlington.

The contract is for fleet management, maintenance, and repair for the City of Arlington's entire fleet of more than 850 vehicles, including city pool cars, police, and fire and emergency rescue units.

First Vehicle Services will provide 26 management, technicians and support personnel for the agreement.

First Transit, parent company of First Vehicle Services, announced in August of this year a pilot program with the Arlington Convention and Visitors Bureau to provide autonomous vehicle (AV) passenger shuttles for fans visiting Globe Life Park and AT&T Stadium, home to the Dallas Cowboys.
