WICHITA, KS (February 8, 2006) -“Are you really the tooth fairy?” asks fascinated children all across Wichita, to Amy Beabout, owner of AmyLou Designs, Inc. Beabout, also known as the “Tooth Fairy Lady” is the creator and manufacturer of official tooth fairy pillows and books. Beabout began making her tooth shaped pillows for her own children and family.
Inspired during long hours sitting in a hospital with her son, who has VACTREs syndrome, when a nurse mentioned a desire to purchase one, Beabout realized she had the beginnings of an unusual business.

Beabout travels with her nine-year-old son Clayton, to San Antonio, TX, twice a year for surgery in the Titanium Rib Program. Clayton has a rare syndrome, which resulted in his body being born with missing ribs. Clayton is involved in the Program, where he receives titanium rib implants and goes regularly for enlargements. Both Beabouts had a passion to help other families in the program and created The Titanium Rib Foundation in 2005.

The Titanium Rib Foundation received 501c3 status last August. The purpose is to assist families who are in the rib program at the original site in San Antonio, TX. The foundation is currently raising funds for the foundation in hopes of dispersing them in the near future. The website is currently under construction.

“Amy has brought the fun, mystery and magic of losing your teeth back to life,” says Nancy Ruesser, repeat customer. Beabout has over 30 plus designs for boys and girls on her website, www.toothfairypillow.net. AmyLou Designs manufacturing is done primarily by Beabout with assistance from other moms and grandmas.
