PITTSBURGH – May 3, 2018 –RDX, the industry leader of remote data infrastructure services, has recently acquired CommitDBA, a remote DBA services provider based in Dayton, Ohio. CommitDBA was formally established in 2012 as a subsidiary of Ross Group Incorporated and focused on providing remote database administration and monitoring services to a wide range of customers across the United States.

"Given CommitDBA's expertise and reputation for high quality DBA support, RDX saw this opportunity as one that would be mutually beneficial to further enhance our service offerings," said RDX Chief Revenue Officer, Rob Brown. Because of the acquisition, RDX has already been able to expand its service offerings with Epic Caché ODBA support. RDX CEO, Buddy Flerl, added, "This is a tremendous value proposition for the dozens of healthcare customers we support, and we are currently putting together additional plans that will help us grow the on-premises and cloud services we provide to all customers."

As part of the agreement, CommitDBA will operate under RDX's name, and all of CommitDBA's clients will be supported by RDX. Additionally, its Dayton office will serve as an RDX satellite office. "We are very excited to be gaining a wealth of SQL Server and Oracle talent on our team," said RDX Director of Service Delivery, Konstantin Melamud. "CommitDBA's DBA team has hundreds of years of collective experience, and their knowledge will provide additional value to not only our customers but also the RDX team as a whole."
