March 5, 2019 - On February 19, 2019, Fisher Rushmer Associate Attorney Kimberlee Martin accepted a Token of Appreciation Award for her contributions as Co-Chair/Volunteer for the 2018 Orange County Bar Association Young Lawyers Section (OCBA YLS) toy drive for Washington Shores Elementary School.

Ms. Martin accepted the award from the Orange County Public Schools at the 2019 District 5 Annual Recognition and Black History Month Celebration.

Washington Shores Elementary, a Title I school, is located in an economically challenged area in Orlando. Some students at the school have been classified as homeless.

Fisher Rushmer teamed up with the OCBA YLS and other community leaders to collect toys that were then distributed to the in-need students during a holiday party at the school on December 14, 2018. Over 128 toys were collected and distributed to 32 Washington Shores' children.

"Everyone at Fisher Rushmer is proud of Kimberlee and her charitable work within the community," stated Fisher Rushmer shareholder John Fisher. "Her recognition by the Orange County Public Schools is another indication of all that she has contributed to our local community."
