SalesBuilder Inc. Hires New Vice President of Worldwide Sales

(J.P.) Lanham as vice president of worldwide sales, effective immediately. In this new role, Lanham will head all global sales initiatives and lead SalesBuilder’s penetration into its core markets, including insurance, technology, financial services and mortgage lending. Lanham will report directly to Olivier Chaine, founder and CEO of SalesBuilder Inc.

Lanham is a veteran executive of early stage and start-up companies who has built both revenue and organizations over the past 15 years. He began his career as vice president of sales and marketing for The Human Element, a nationally prominent developer of interactive training for companies like Toyota, Oracle, Baxter Healthcare and General Electric and educational publishers West Publishing and Times-Mirror.
In 1997, he co-founded NativeMinds, a company that created the first enterprise software for the development of “Virtual Customer Support Representatives”. There he led the initial sales and marketing efforts, signing on premier customers like Oracle, Procter & Gamble, Convergys and Britain’s One-to-One Cellular (T-Mobile). He then started the NativeMinds’ Professional Services organization, which soon accounted for 20%-40% of total contract dollars and included development, integration, training and customer service. Finally, Lanham took responsibility for NativeMinds’ Business Development efforts, overseeing partnership agreements with Siebel, Inktomi and Oracle.
He is a Magna Cum Laude graduate of Boston College, a member of the Boston College Technology Council and has delivered lectures at Stanford University, St. Louis University and other prominent universities.
