(AUGR.PK), a pioneer and leading provider of library automation solutions for over 35 years, today announced a partnership with the Children’s Literature Comprehensive Database (CLCD), an Internet-based acquisition, research, and reference service, to provide content enrichment solutions for SchoolCAT™, Auto-Graphics’ cataloging product serving K-12 school libraries. SchoolCAT subscribers now have the option to directly purchase these value-added services and receive the product’s expanded capability, including access to an additional one million quality MARC records. Librarians, teachers, and parents can now fully examine CLCD materials prior to making a purchase, ensuring that K-12 students receive the highest quality literary resources possible.

With CLCD, SchoolCAT now provides subscribers with access to reviews, reading measurement scores, links to author/illustrator information, best book list entries, Horn Book Guide ratings, awards, honors & prize entries, state/provincial reading lists, correlations to SOLs, and curriculum tools. In addition, librarians, teachers, and parents can view over 300,000 reviews of children’s books, multimedia, audio books, and more, from 35 sources.
