"Many of my students are people coming off a bad breakup, or in a place in their lives where they're just frustrated that things aren't happening for them. They are afraid they are stuck there. My message is that if I can change my entire life, anyone can. I help them to get motivated and show them that it can be done," explained Elliott.

Through hard work, perseverance and determination, she pulled herself out of chaos and misery to become a therapist, motivational keynote speaker, writer, and an attorney. She received a BA from Mount Holyoke College where she graduated with High Honors, magna cum laude and Phi Beta Kappa; an M.Ed. from Cambridge College; and a J.D. from the University of California at Berkeley.
She overcame the odds to find success, and now she is helping others to do the same through her inspirational seminars, workshops, and training.

"I love being a lawyer but I can't pretend my old life didn't exist. I have to give back because people were there for me when I needed help. Without them, I wouldn't have survived, so now I need to be there for others. Getting this message out is the most important thing I can do in my life," she said.
