Stereotype Records throws Holiday Party!

December 15, 2004 (PRLEAP.COM) Entertainment News
Under the radar of acoustic Christmases, jingle balls, and other overblown, expensive, crowded, and just plain pain-in-the-ass holiday shows, Stereotype Records, in conjunction with Los Angeles Regional Food Bank and our friends at The Good Hurt, are throwing a holiday shindig on Thursday, December 23rd. There will be acoustic performances by members of all of Stereotype's roster and records spun by a few almost-famous guest DJs.

Says Stereotype co-founder, Eric Holden, "Whether our music fans hate Xmas or not, Stereotype Records, will be giving their audience FREE Admission, FREE give-a-ways, and a FREE Stereotype Records CD with every food donation to our partners in feeding the hungry, the Los Angeles Regional Food Bank. We encourage everyone to donate."

Stereotype Records is pleased to announce that performing will be Philip Golden of Mission to Mars, David Baker of Knee Jerk Reaction, and Rick Stone.

"We'd like all fans of great independent music to get away from those big boring celebrations or step out from that 'in-town for the holidays' family get together for a night out of some great music and a beer or three." Holden explained. "It's Christmas Eve's Eve… ya know, the night before Christmas Eve, Thursday, December 23rd. So there's no excuse not to come."

The Stereotypical Xmas show, the label is happy to say, will feature guest DJ Ian Sefchick from On the Speakers spinning his favorites before and in-between the live sets.

The label is pleased to invite all in the greater Los Angeles area who want to drop by, have a listen, a beer, and pick up a FREE CD— Don't forget to bring canned food!

A Stereotypical Xmas Show will be at The Good Hurt (12249 Venice Blvd, West Los Angeles, CA 90066 • 310.390.1076 • www.goodhurt.net) Thursday, December 23rd. Doors open at 8p, music at 9p.
