Design Force proudly announces that a letter written by its president, Ted Mininni, to the editor of the Small Biz “Today’s Tip: Advice from the Experts” section of Business Week, has been published online.

In his letter, Mr. Mininni comments on a short article entitled: “Maximize Your Web Site”, written by another small business president. In his comments, he states that business web sites are only effective when they: “…allow customers and businesses to qualify each other quickly and efficiently.” Mr. Mininni: “Service companies’ web sites should clearly and succinctly speak to the customer: this is who we are, this is what we do, and our sole purpose is to service you. You have needs and problems and we can help you to solve them. We understand you and your business because we specialize in this industry sector, just as you do.”

Mr. Mininni speaks from the vantage point of a business expert and president of his own consultancy, selling design solutions and services to the toy/entertainment and food/beverage industries for almost two decades. The concluding observations in his letter are worth noting: “Service companies and consultancies would do themselves, and their customers, a great service if they made their web sites part of their effort in creating a better customer experience. All concerned would profit from it.”
