The New Jersey Coalition for Self Defense is pleased to endorse fellow New Jersey patriot Scott Bach for re-election to the NRA board of directors. Scott's Second Amendment resume can be seen on-line at http://www.bachbio.com

It is our sincere belief that Scott will end the historical policy of sacrificing freedom on the altar of political correctness by capitulating to anti-Second Amendment legislation in the form of exemptions for select segments of our community. This practice fragments our community, fractures our First Principles of liberty, gives tacit approval to antigun ideology thereby encouraging yet more of the same, and undermines our absolute rights—all at once.

The NJCSD believes that capitulation is never an option when fighting for your life, or fighting for our rights to self-defense. Because Scott understands that freedom isn't free, we are optimistic he will refocus the NRA's resources on states like New Jersey that necessitate a greater investment in the future of our freedom and return value to the NRA membership for our loyal support over the years.

Scott "gets it". He understands that modern times require modern techniques, contemporary tools, and a dire sense of urgency to battle the enemies of freedom. He recognizes that the cancer of politically correct anti-gun ideology does not stop at the Delaware.

Today in New Jersey, the Second Amendment exists only as an irrelevant point of history. We believe that as a director, Scott will serve as a role model for effective RKBA leadership and restore liberty to a state that stands at the posterior end of freedom in America.

After all, it's for our children.
