The winner of the 2005 Spanish Scholarship is Tarsilo Ugarte Onuluk, who attended Cambridge House Community College in Valencia.

The Cambridge Brilliance in Spain Award 2005 winner is Marcos Rodriguez Zabala from Hastings School, Madrid, who achieved the best seven Cambridge IGCSE results in the June 2005 session. He wins educational vouchers, which will also to be presented at the NABSS Conference.

“CIE congratulates Tarsilo and Marcos for gaining exceptional results in their examinations,” says Mr Stocker. “These achievements are the start of a bright future for these talented students. We wish them even further academic success.”

As part of the NABSS Conference, CIE is holding teacher training workshops in Cambridge IGCSE Physics and Cambridge IGCSE Geography. The workshops are led by experienced trainers. A seminar on new developments at CIE will take place on the evening of Friday 3 March. At the seminar, Stephen Stocker will give details on the Cambridge Pre-U consultation, the Cambridge International Primary Programme, Cambridge IGCSE developments and new teacher support resources that are now available.
