100 Sexiest Women 2006 from InterSites.co.uk

InterSites users have been voting in their tens of thousands and the votes are now in and counted. The results were close but we can now reveal the most up to date and widely voted on sexiest women list in the world.

Angelina Jolie, Jessica Alba, Kelly Brook, Halle Berry, Elisha Cuthbert, Kristin Kreuk and newcomer Eva Longaria have all made this years top 100. There have also been surprises like Celebrity Big Brother winner Chantelle Houghton making strong late running, but who will come out on top?

For the first time in our history InterSites latest 100 Sexiest Women list combines historical voting figures as well as the new online voting system in close to real time.

Director Dave Chewter commented "We felt our traditional once a year list was getting a little stale, that's what everyone in the industry has traditionally done, from FHM and Maxim to GQ. Times change a lot faster now though, if you produce one list a year it's almost immediately out of date. After all no-one had heard of Chantelle 2 months ago. We plan to produce the list quarterly from now on, and you even see a near real-time snapshot of the current top 20 most popular in our online voting system." Speaking about the problems with real-time scoring Dave added "Of course you're going to have problems with people trying to skew the results, we've had multiple attempts to do this already, but we employ real-time controls as well as running all the latest votes through our proprietary systems on a weekly basis to adjust weightings. Coupled with the fact we're constantly adding new women to vote for, we have the most accurate, and up-to-date list available bar none"

The top entries so far have been a mixture of old and new with women from the 2005 list such as Angelina Jolie, The Olsen Twins, Christina Aguilera, Kelly Brook and Rachel Stevens still performing strongly, as well as new entries to the list such as Evangeline Lilly (star of TV series Lost), Katie Melua (British singer), Paris Hilton and of course the previously mentioned Paris Travelodge (aka Chantelle Houghton).
