Graphic design jobs on the rise well into next decade

Of all the art careers you could choose for yourself, graphic design is expected to have the most new jobs through the year 2014, according to a new report issued by the U.S. Bureau of Labor Statistics.

According to the report, "Graphic designers with Web site design and animation experience will have the best opportunities." The report notes that a Bachelor's degree is required for most entry-level positions, which means that getting an education is critical.
