Franklin, TN - Habitat for Humanity of Williamson County announces the Grand Opening celebration for its recently opened resale store, Renovation Station. The public is invited and encouraged to check out the new store.

The events will occur on Friday, March 17th from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. and Saturday, March 18th from 8 a.m. to 4 p.m. Visitors can expect refreshments, door prizes and a free gift with every $50 purchase, while supplies last.

Renovation Station, which opened recently on Eddy Court, is a resale store for new and gently used building materials and home furnishings. The entire inventory is donated from local sources.

According to a statement from Ermon Lature, executive director for the Williamson County Habitat, Renovation Station operates to enhance the housing ministry of Habitat for Humanity of Williamson County by providing a self-sufficient funding source. This source will enable Habitat to provide the community with affordable housing for low-income families at zero interest, while recycling materials that would otherwise end up in landfills.

The 8,400-square-foot Renovation Store, adjacent to the Habitat offices at 300 Eddy Court, just off Liberty Pike, offers cabinets, bathroom fixtures, flooring, lighting and more.

“We believe the public will love our prices and the quality of the products we have for sale, and this revenue will enable us to ensure that 100% of our sponsor and donation money goes to building new homes,” Lature said.
