Case Design/Remodeling, Inc. Wins 2004 Contractor of the Year Award

Case Design/Remodeling, Inc. has been named winner of a prestigious Contractor of the Year (CotY) award in the Residential Bath category by the Metro DC Chapter of the National Association of the Remodeling Industry (NARI). The project recognized with a CotY was a spa-inspired bathroom remodel in Rockville, Maryland featuring Carrara marble, rich cherry wood cabinetry and a heated floor system. The award was presented earlier this month in a ceremony at the J.W. Marriott Hotel in downtown Washington.

"We are always delighted to receive recognition from our peers,' said Mark Richardson, CR, President of Case, "and it's especially gratifying when our work is honored with one of the industry's premiere awards.'

The winning scheme by Case Designer Rick Matus was conceived to evoke the luxury, openness and clean lines of a men's spa, and incorporates marble cladding on the room's floor and walls with design detail achieved through the use of a variety of sizes of marble tile. Cherry wood cabinetry was selected to lend warmth and contrast to the design, and pedestal sinks add a distinctive and appropriately streamlined touch.

Judges at this year's NARI DC Metro Chapter CotY awards reviewed a record number of entrants in categories ranging from whole house remodels to smaller scaled kitchen and bath projects. NARI's Regional and National CotY awards are widely recognized as leading industry honors.
