Thornhill, Ontario – Announcing Endangered Couture’s first event sponsorship! An all-girl event titled “Girls Night Out” to be held on March 22nd 2006 by the Chinese Varsity Club at the University of British Columbia. This is an exciting event that is drawing in lots of sponsorship from various companies within the fashion and beauty industries, including a title speaker from MAC makeup who has done collections in Milan!

Endangered Couture will be promoting environmental awareness through this event by giving out the most update information from the World Wildlife Fund’s beautiful newsletters, in addition to WWF logo tattoos and Endangered Couture logo buttons, which can be attached to knapsacks to help spread the word! As a special thank you to the Chinese Varsity Club for their invitation to take part in their event, Endangered Couture will be donating two of their “monkey promo” American Apparel t-shirts as door prizes for two lucky individuals. This promotional t-shirt features the monkey design with tone on tone vintage printing. This design will be on the monkey-t in their new, yet to be launched, custom made t-shirt collection titled “go wild!”

The Chinese Varsity Club at UBC is a non-profit student member organization with over 1000 members. They hold a variety of athletic and social events, including programs that give back to the community. These programs and events are held throughout the year not only at the University, but across the lower mainland of BC.

Part of Endangered Couture’s mission is to support the community by sponsoring non-profit organizations. If you haven’t heard of Endangered Couture yet, they are a newly formed clothing label committed to spreading awareness of endangered animals and creating the highest quality sweatshop free apparel, while at the same time donating 15% of the proceeds from each item sold to the World Wildlife Fund of Canada. As their company grows they are looking to support more organizations by inaugurating the Endangered Couture Foundation to support smaller unrecognized charitable organizations and participate in more sponsorship events with exciting promotional items, such as pens and lanyards, water bottles etcetera!

Please visit the Endangered Couture website for more information about EC and the collection at www.endangeredcouture.com! Feel free to contact EC if you would like to receive a print copy of this release. Tamara Danielle, our founder and designer is available for interviews upon request!
