With a background in education and social work, Joanna S. Berke is heavily involved with her community. She belongs to a Reform Jewish Synagogue and leads a committee focused on bringing Israeli culture to her local community. Berke is an adoptive mother and currently lives with her daughter, son-in-law, and grandson.
