All Mighty Whispers album release. The DIY approach to selling an album

Since the release of the debut album "Love Revolution" from All Mighty Whispers, the news within the internet fraternity has got around that this album is something special. In less than 1 month of its release, songs from the album have been played by Marc Radcliffe on BBC Radio 2, appeared on more than 30 podcasts and have been played alongside Eels, Muddy Waters, Merle Haggard, Modest Mouse, Dead Heart Bloom, etc… the band were interviewed live on BBC Radio Norfolk and then played 2 songs. Radios in Japan, Germany, France, Canada and the USA have all played songs from the album. The video for "Coming Home" has been voted number 1 for 3 weeks on the MP3unsigned site and they have had an major interview on the influential Unsigned Magazine that described the band as "having a song writing formula that works".
Don't forget that this band are taking the DIY approach to selling their album. It's word of mouth and Podcasts. From the word go, the album was taken on board and distributed by Pinnacle/Shellshock who heard the master tapes, were impressed and took on the job of putting this album into the shops. So the band have an album in Virgin/HMV/Amazon and every small independent shop up and down Europe. Don't forget, this band is not signed. They are simply moving with the times and using their experience to share their songs to the world at large.
