New York, April 2006- Over 50 companies and institutions will come together at the Jacob Javits Center in NYC on April 26th, just a few days after the city’s convention center hosts its renowned auto show, only this time to focus on building careers for Latino professionals and empowering tomorrow’s Latino leaders.
HACE’s conference (The Hispanic Alliance for Career Enhancement) is no ordinary career fair.
The conference will give professionals and college students alike a unique opportunity to interact and interview with employers in major corporations such as Caterpillar, Goldman, Sachs & Co, Time Warner, Johnson & Johnson, General Electric, Lehman Brothers, Tribune and Target, among others. The conference will be held from 9:30am through 4:30pm.
“HACE has undergone a total change of strategy and direction during the past four years. We are much more than the traditional career conference,” said Abe Tomás Hughes, President and CEO of HACE. “All of our programs are free”.
Features this year will include ten professional development workshops which will provide attendees the secrets of success from senior executives who have made it to the top, to basic skill enhancement from some of the best trainers in the world.
