Perceptive Software Announces Construction of New Headquarters

SHAWNEE, KANSAS — Perceptive Software, Inc., today announced that construction of a new corporate headquarters is underway. The site is approximately one mile from the current offices in Shawnee, Kan., and project completion is slated for early fall 2005.

Located in the Shawnee Crossings development at K-7 and Shawnee Mission Parkway, the 101,000-square-foot facility will house the document imaging, management and workflow software company's expanding workforce, which could number around 360 by 2009. Currently, the company employs 150 associates from the Kansas City area.

Because a positive work environment is the foundation of Perceptive Software's continuing growth, an employee-centered vision was the focus for Architect Russell Zung of George Butler Associates, who produced the building's state-of-the-art design.

"The executive team imparted the need for an interactive and enjoyable workplace during our first meeting," said Zung.
