It is not only an effective, weaponless art of self-defense, but also a competitive sport and a good method of maintaining all-round fitness.

Northants Taekwondo offer students the opportunity to become a Black Belt in a well known and respected Martial Art. As well as learn street useful self-defense techniques, compete in sporting tournaments throughout the UK and abroad and generally be more healthier and confident. Taekwondo is for everyone, whether a you are a young 6 year old, or a more mature 60+ year old. It is designed so that even someone with the slightest build and musculature can defend themselves against the largest of attackers. It is the technique itself and not the build of the student that generates power. Anyone can do it, all you have to do is start.
