MAYO Communications Celebrates 10th Anniversary

Los Angeles– MAYO Communications, an international award-winning full service public relations and marketing agency, based in Los Angeles celebrates 10 years of service this month.

“Our first client was in San Jose, CA and in Paris, said President Aida Mayo, a former Argentine born lawyer, who migrated to America in 1989. “We launched Linux 6.0 operating software on the day its first distributor Red Hat went public, and stocks shot up from nine dollars to $109 in less than two hours. Our phone wouldn’t stop ringing.”

MAYO evolved from a high tech public relations firm taking on huge transportation public affairs projects such as MTA and Alameda Corridor East; to government and nonprofit 501c organizations such as Los Angeles County Economic Development Corporation, WTCA LA/LB, Hospital Assn. of Southern California and Wal-Mart. Last Summer MAYO opened bureaus in San Diego and New York.

Most recently MAYO added TV celebrities such as the teen drama cast for Palmetto Pointe, Actress Steffani Brass, TV Hollywood Anchor Margaret Wendt to Stevie Wonder benefit concerts and events with STITCHES TECHNOLOGY, teaching disadvantage children how to design clothes on computers.

It is a double anniversary celebration for MAYO Communications. Aida and George also celebrated their 15th anniversary with a trip to Venice, Napoli, Sorento, Capri, Florencia, Rome, Vatican City and Paris.

“My whole attitude has change about the France,” said McQuade. Both the French and Italians are friendly, and we recommend it anyone wanting to explore the world. Luckily for us Aida spoke Italian.”
