Beginning in April, visitors can discover the origins of this burgeoning neighborhood through a free two-hour guided walking tour.
Open to the public, the free tour gives an insider’s look at New York City’s original leader in discount retailing and highlights the integral role of retail and shopping in the Lower East Side’s development. A licensed guide provides colorful anecdotes alongside the neighborhood’s blend of classic and contemporary shops, architecture and more.
