International students’ forefront of OneUniForm business.

OneUniForm, the free university prospectus request handling service has announced new figures today which highlight the importance of international students to the universities and higher education colleges of the United Kingdom.

“International students have used our university prospectus ordering service far more than expected since our January 2006 launch” explained John Salvador, OneUniForm launch team director. “We were expecting a small number of international students to access our website, such is the power of the internet, but are finding that over a third of our hits and twenty percent of our users are international.”

Salvador continued to explain that universities and higher education colleges are seeing the potential of international students with many of their members offering free flights home every term for every international students. “International means clean revenue” Salvador explains, “there is no wait for fund release from the government as with domestic students.

It is clear however that the power of the internet is having a huge effect on the small website, run by students for students, with over forty-three (43) institutions signed up and hundreds of students in its database.

OneUniForm is a free service run by students for students that offers a way of requesting multiple prospectuses from different institutions whilst only filling in your information once. Institutions using its services include the Universities of Winchester, Central England, Worcester, Central Lancashire, Abertay, Napier, Aston, Gloucestershire, Buckingham and City (London). It also has several specialist, prestigious institutions using its services too including the School of Pharmacy (University of London), the Royal Vetinary College, British College Of Osteopathic Medicine and Cleveland College Of Art.
