Sunday, April 23 2006 is a special day for Colorado residents – it’s the premiere date of the “Rocky Mountain Taste of Spring Open House” for Front Range entrepreneurs. Local small and independent business owners will come together to raise community awareness for their products and services and The Susan L. DeWitt Foundation for Extended Breath. The free event runs from 12:00pm to 4:00pm in the events center at The Butterfly Pavilion in Westminster, CO.

Local residents will be allowed to browse the displays of over 30 local small companies, hear original compositions by live local musicians, receive chair massage, and take home goodie bags of samples and special offers from the featured presenters. Live demonstrations will begin every 20 minutes to highlight the benefits of the participating business owners.

“It’s an opportunity to bring small business and consumer together in a no-pressure atmosphere while mutually benefiting a home-town charity whose cause hits us all close to home,” says Rebekah Welch of The Colorado Connector, the event coordinator. “Our entrepreneur network is eager to provide for our local market and demonstrate the heart of the small business owner – a burning desire to enrich and benefit the lives of others”.

A raffle will be held to benefit The Butterfly Pavilion and The Susan L. DeWitt Foundation for Extended Breath with tickets available at the door. Prizes including gift packages from the local businesses and a grand prize of $100 cash will be awarded.
