New Debt Help Blog from Clear Start

This month Clear Start, the UK Consumer Debt Service launched a new blog to enable people to get online help in resolving their debt problems. The blog allows users to post questions about their debt difficulties and receive a response online which helps them and benefits other readers.

The organisation believes that debt-help-and-advice.blogspot.com will help meet the demand for good and independent advice from people who are facing financial difficulties.

A Clear Start spokesman told us that the company has received record numbers of calls to its free debt helpline in quarter one of this year. This is a result of the growing number of consumers in Britain who are struggling with debt. Indeed, the debt problem has become so bad that last year personal debt broke through the £1 trillion barrier.

The trouble is that with so many so called debt counselling companies being more interested in pushing their own agendas than in offering genuine debt help, it is difficult for consumers to know where to turn.

Clear Start was set up to offer free and impartial debt help and advice that people could trust. It started by packing its website with useful information and providing a free debt helpline number. The launch of debt-help-and-advice.blogspot.com is the latest in its debt help offerings.

By enabling people to ask questions online and have them answered directly by an expert, Clear Start is championing the battle against debt and helping people to make a fresh start.
