Raleigh, NC – In preparation for this May’s Brookhill Steeplechase, the Raleigh Jaycees have announced a partnership with local media leader WRAL. The affiliation will see WRAL TV actively participating in a complete advertising campaign leading up to the event date of May the 6th.

During the past three years attendance, corporate sponsorships and media affiliations with the Brookhill event have been escalating at a rapid rate. Continuing relationships with Glaxo Smith Kline, American Airlines, and Harris Wholesale coupled with new sponsors the Bell South Real Yellow Pages, Jim Beam and Knob Creek, have the Jaycees expecting record-breaking attendance figures. Media partnerships with all four local Clear Channel radio stations (106.1, 105.1, 100.7, 93.9) and an exclusive television contract with WRAL TV validate hopes for attendance at this year’s event to be in excess of 15,000.

Brookhill Marketing Chair, Jill Beck commented, “this is a very exciting time for our event, it seems that our sponsorships are gaining momentum and we have forged solid media partnerships. This is going to be a fantastic year for the Steeplechase.”

Corporate tents, rail space and general admission tickets can be purchased at the Brookhill Steeplechase website. General admission tickets can also be purchased at local, participating Harris Teeter stores and will also be available on May 6th at the event site.
