Three food-world entrepreneurs today anounce the opening of the Mediterranean Cooking School in Granada, Spain.

The School offers 3 and 4-day culinary vacations, walking food market tours, and food & wine tastings from within the ancient Arab district, called the Albaycin.

Daniel Abel, Vaughn Perret, and Charles Leary are the proprietors of Trout Point Lodge in Nova Scotia and the Inn at Coyote Mountain in Costa Rica. They previously operated a farm and restaurant in Louisiana. Random House published their first cookbook in 2004.

The Cooking School is located at Casa Azahar in the Albayzin, which is a UNESCO World Heritage Site along with the famed Alhambra Palace. The Alhambra is the number one visited historical monument in the country.
